New Mexico....March 2012

We have arrived in New Mexico to the town of Deming.  Our first outing was to the Gila Cliff Dwellings about an hour north of Deming.  Our first incident was a major dust storm.  We were stuck there for over an hour.  It was so bad that I-10 was closed from one end of  New Mexico to the other end of New Mexico.  Once we got through the sand storm we were driving through the Gila National Forest and sure enough a tree was down due to the strong winds.  Gary didn't let that stop him.  He drove through the forest around the tree.  We finally made it to the Gila Cliff Dwellings.  Because Gary and I had been there before we let Rodney and Sharon explore them and we went exploring in a different area and found other cliff dwellings.  Pretty cool.
